How to borrow a book
Please ensure all loans are recorded. Please do not remove books from the shelves without loaning.
For new students:
To borrow books, you will need your printing/library credentials. This has been setup for you and notified previously in the email to you about printing.
Username; first initial of the name you provided to the College as your preferred first name (e.g. ‘r’ for ‘Rose’) and your last name with no spaces all in lower case (eg. Emelia O’Halloran who has listed ‘Gabby’ as her preferred name would be: ‘gohalloran’). Another example is Billy Owens, their username would be: 'bowens'.
Password; your University student number
Please do not share this information. The College will not be held responsible for unauthorised access to your account.
For returning students:
Returning students please note your login details for the library system have not changed from the previous year.
TO BORROW/ RETURN LIBRARY BOOKS
STEP 1: Enter the library home page by clicking LOGIN in top right hand corner. Enter your Username and Password as above. If you have forgotten your password or the system is down, please record your loans in the Manual Loans Book, on the Librarian's desk. All loans must be recorded. Please do not remove books from the shelves without loaning out.
STEP 2: In the top left corner, click on either BORROW or RETURN
STEP 3: If you are borrowing, enter your Username in Borrower ID
STEP 4: Scan the barcode on book/s you wish to borrow. Make sure they appear on the list below.
STEP 5: Click FINISH
If you are returning items at STEP 2 Click RETURN, scan the barcode on the book/s you wish to return and click FINISH.
STEP 6: LOGOUT by clicking the icon at the top right hand corner
